A flagship store that shares “ReFa” beauty technology with the world

“ReFa” is a Japanese beauty brand that began in 2009 with the launch of facial rollers. Since then, it has introduced innovative beauty products such as showerheads, hair dryers, and hairbrushes, gaining attention for its concept of “technology that enhances beauty.” “ReFa GINZA” opened alongside the brand’s growth. The store offers the brand’s full lineup, from best-selling items to the latest trending products, allowing customers to choose from a wide variety of options to find what suits them best.

Opening a store in Ginza, an area known for its concentration of global luxury brands, also reflects the intention to showcase Japan’s technological expertise and spirit of innovation to the world, and to strengthen its presence as a global brand.

Beyond the entrance, a luxurious space unfolds, designed to harmonize with the refined streetscape of Ginza.

The store faces Chuo Street in Ginza and features an open, welcoming entrance that allows anyone to step inside with ease.

At “ReFa GINZA,” a curated selection of popular best-selling products and trending featured items is presented.

The signature showerhead from “ReFa,” the “ReFa Fine Bubble U+” (38,000 yen), uses ultra-fine bubbles to thoroughly cleanse impurities deep within the pores, elevating your at-home bath time into a more refined beauty care experience.

The “ReFa BEAUTECH Dryer BX W” (74,800 yen), equipped with a sensing function that automatically adjusts the temperature from the scalp to the ends of the hair, is a popular model that is also compatible with international voltages. It minimizes damage while achieving a salon-like finish.

The “ReFa Heart Fragrance” (9,350 yen each) features a compact, portable size that allows you to easily enjoy its scent even while on the go. Its iconic heart-shaped design is a distinctive feature.

The premium water “ReFa Water Premium 70” (720 mL, 5,400 yen) is sourced from groundwater that has been naturally filtered over approximately 70 years beneath permafrost layers in geological strata near the summit of Mount Fuji. It supports beauty from within.

The “ReFa Heart Comb Aira” (3,300 yen), which Hinon fell in love with at first sight, has a compact size that fits easily into small bags or pockets and is especially popular among younger women.

A sophisticated spatial design created by a world-renowned designer

The floors, from the basement level to the 4th floor, were designed by Gwenael Nicolas, a designer known for his work on numerous luxury brand stores, including GINZA SIX. The concept is “vibrant luxury.” By combining natural elements with technology, the space expresses the worldview of ReFa as a whole. The interior incorporates circular forms and gentle curves. By following these curves, visitors can naturally move through the space and browse the products.

Circular display fixtures allow products to be viewed from all 360 degrees.

The space is divided by category, but without partitions, allowing visitors to move freely throughout the store.

A wall filled with displays of the “ReFa Heart Brush” is also a highlight.

A shower booth featuring a large stone bowl with a diameter of 2.5 meters, designed to make the flow of water visible.

On the 3rd floor, where lifestyle products such as linen and recovery wear are displayed, warm wood with gentle curves is used to create a comfortable atmosphere.

Try products in person and experience how they feel

This store places a strong emphasis on hands-on experiences. Customers can try beauty devices such as hair dryers, hair irons, and showerheads by using them in the store. In addition to trying products freely, customers can also test them while receiving consultations from staff. Multilingual staff are available, allowing visitors to shop with confidence while understanding each product’s features. Recovery wear, such as loungewear and sleepwear, is also available. Customers can try items on to check the fit and comfort before making a purchase.

The store also offers recovery wear products such as loungewear and sleepwear. Customers can try on the products to check the size and comfort, so they can choose products with satisfaction.

Hinon was recommended a hand cream by a staff member and tried it right away.

“It has a smooth texture that blends easily into the skin, and a beautifully elegant rose fragrance!” (Hinon)

Hinon was guided to a spacious dresser area, where she tried the most advanced model among “ReFa” hair dryers, the “ReFa BEAUTECH Dryer BX W” (74,800 yen). She can also try it while receiving a blow-drying lesson from the staff.

“It left my hair feeling moist and soft, just like after a salon visit.” (Hinon)

In the shower booth, visitors can try 10 different types of showerheads.

Hinon experienced the “ReFa Fine Bubble SF” (88,000 yen), which features a sunflower-inspired design. “It’s fun because you can freely switch from a fine mist-like spray to a stronger water flow!”

Hinon tried on recovery wear, which is designed to promote blood circulation, relieve fatigue, and ease stiffness in the shoulders and lower back. “I love the stylish design—it’s fashionable enough to wear on its own when going out.” (Hinon)

Get limited items and pre-release products ahead of others

At “ReFa GINZA,” new colors and new products are available for pre-release, allowing customers to obtain the latest items earlier than at other stores. The store also offers a wide selection of limited items, including collaborations with other industries and products incorporating traditional Japanese craftsmanship.

The shop also offers a wide variety of gift sets and specially designed items, which are popular not only as a treat for yourself, but also as a unique Japanese souvenir.

This product series applies traditional Japanese craftsmanship to the popular “ReFa Heart Brush.” (From left) the “ReFa Heart Toyama” (36,300 yen), featuring Takaoka raden (a traditional mother-of-pearl inlay craft from Toyama), the “ReFa Bristle Oak” (39,600 yen), created in collaboration with the furniture brand “Karimoku Furniture,” and the “ReFa Heart Kyoto” (38,500 yen), finished using Kyoto’s urushi (Japanese lacquer) techniques.

The “ReFa Heart Velvet” (16,500 yen), a special-edition hairbrush designed with a velour-based material, features an elegant texture and a luxurious design.

The “ReFa Heart Selection” (13,420 yen), which includes a hair mist, comb, mirror, and brush in one set, is also highly popular as a gift.

Create original products with embroidery and engraving services

At “ReFa GINZA,” a store-exclusive service allows customers to add names or initials through embroidery or engraving (for a fee) on selected items such as towels, sleepwear, and heart brushes. Items can be picked up on the same day, making the service convenient for international visitors. Original luxury packaging from “ReFa GINZA” is also available, making these items suitable as gifts.

Embroidered sleepwear and hand towels are available. Customers can choose how to add names or initials according to their preferences.

Adding embroidery or engraving enhances the sense of exclusivity, making each item even more special.

The packaging features a luxurious design with the original “ReFa GINZA” logo.
