SHISEIDO THE STORE is the flagship store of Shiseido, a Japanese cosmetics manufacturer established in 1872, and offers a wide range of cosmetic products from the first to fourth floors, including SHISEIDO and other brands, as well as beauty treatments, makeovers, skin measurements and other services by beauty professionals. The store also offers a full range of services, including beauty treatments, makeovers, and skin tests by professional beauty therapists. Try a wide range of brands from the “Shiseido” group in one place

Located on the corner of the Ginza 7-chome intersection, “SHISEIDO THE STORE” has cosmetics retail floors on the 1st and 2nd levels. The 1st floor features “Clé de Peau Beauté,” “THE GINZA,” and “SHISEIDO,” while the 2nd floor offers brands such as “MAQuillAGE” and “d program.” The interior incorporates the camellia emblem, a symbol of “Shiseido,” creating a space that reflects the brand’s history and aesthetic identity.

The 1st floor displays a wide range of “Shiseido” products. Hinon said, “There are so many choices—I can’t help but look at everything.”

Customize purchased products with engraving to suit your preferences

On the 1st floor, customers who purchase eligible products can receive free engraving on their items. Eligible products include popular items such as the “SHISEIDO Ultimune™ Power Infusing Serum” and the “SHISEIDO TechnoSatin Gel Lipstick.” In addition to Japanese-inspired motif designs, customers can customize their items using numbers and alphabet letters to create an original design. This service is also popular as a souvenir and is available exclusively at this store. Hinon also tried this service.

Customization is completed using a digital display near the entrance, following the on-screen instructions.

First, select the product you purchased.

Next, choose the text or design you want to add.

Up to 15 characters can be entered on both the top and bottom lines.

Once all inputs are completed, a one-of-a-kind original product is created.

Skin analysis service by knowledgeable specialists

On the 2nd floor, personal beauty partners with specialized knowledge measure your skin condition. Using a dedicated digital device called the “Handy Skin Sensor,” they assess each individual’s skin condition. The system mainly analyzes moisture levels, skin clarity, blood circulation, and melanin levels, and visualizes the results using numerical data and graphs. This allows you to objectively understand skin conditions that are difficult to notice on your own. Based on these results, you can receive a wide range of recommendations—from skincare and cosmetics to fragrances—helping you find products that suit your needs. Another appealing point is that no reservation is required, making the service easy to experience.

Hinon also experienced the analysis. When the digital device was lightly placed on her skin, the measurement began immediately.

The results were displayed in just 1–2 minutes.

Based on the results and her skin concerns, she was recommended a moisturizing serum.

She also asked Ms. Onishi, a personal beauty partner, about items popular among international visitors.

“SHISEIDO Ultimune Power Infusing Serum” (50 mL, 15,180 yen) is a popular product with many fans both in Japan and overseas. It helps achieve skin that is firm, smooth, radiant, and deeply hydrated.

“THE GINZA Hybrid Gel Oil n” (100 mL, 29,700 yen) is available only at select stores in Tokyo. This serum combines gel and oil for more advanced skincare.

“SHISEIDO Ginza Murasaki Eau de Parfum” (50 mL, 13,750 yen) features a feminine fragrance centered on purple flowers such as wisteria and violet, offering a distinctly Japanese atmosphere.

“SHISEIDO Perfect Sun Protector Stick” (4,180 yen) is a popular item often repurchased or bought in multiples. This stick-type sunscreen can be applied over makeup and is convenient for reapplication on the go without getting your hands dirty.

A luxurious esthetic experience immersed in the world of “Clé de Peau Beauté”

There is an esthetic salon on the 3rd floor, where you can experience an all-hand esthetic treatment using luxurious "Clé de Peau Beauté", the highest brand of "Shiseido", by advance reservation only. There are a total of eight different menus, including the "Balance Armonize Method" that approaches muscles using the regular line and the "Actif Drennan Method" that specializes in purification using the top-of-the-line "Synactif" skincare line, and optional menus can be added for each area. In addition, a menu of optional menus can be added for each area of the body.

For hairstyling, you can choose between an updo and a down style.
