"PORTER EXCHANGE Shibuya" (commonly known as "PX Shibuya") is a directly operated store by Yoshida & Co., located on the first floor of SHIBUYA PARCO. Showcasing the excellence of Japanese craftsmanship, this store features only two carefully selected product lines: the "TANKER" series, inspired by the U.S. Air Force MA-1 flight jacket and launched in 1983, and its Japan-exclusive offshoot, the "PX TANKER" series. The interior design and display fixtures are meticulously curated to fully convey the appeal of these series.

PORTER EXCHANGE features an interior design inspired by the U.S. military’s "POST EXCHANGE" stores. The space incorporates military-style elements such as fixtures painted in military green, mesh materials reminiscent of gear storage, and storage units modeled after containers. The overall atmosphere feels like stepping into a military field base. A large tent-like fixture at the center of the store features "rescue orange," a high-visibility color used in the lining of MA-1 jackets and the TANKER series, adding a vivid accent to the space.

At PX Shibuya, visitors can do more than shop—they can engage with the stories and philosophy behind the TANKER series through immersive installations. As one of PORTER’s flagship lines, TANKER was renewed in 2023 to mark its 40th anniversary. Exhibits include raw materials used in the updated series, such as corn and castor seeds, highlighting the brand’s dedication to material integrity and craftsmanship.
Actual samples of corn, corn sesame, and other plant materials used to make nylon. The exhibit also conveys the company's commitment to manufacturing down to the smallest detail.
The model that has existed since its birth in 1983 is on display along with the actual sandbags. Visible from outside Parco, the installation symbolizes the brand's world view.
The picture frame in the cash register has a different visual for each season.
PX TANKER is a Japan-exclusive line based on the original TANKER series, featuring distinct changes in materials, colors, and detailing. It uses a unique three-layer nylon twill fabric that offers refined texture and enhanced durability. Each edition showcases its own signature color schemes and practical yet stylish designs. PX Shibuya is one of the few locations that carries the entire PX TANKER lineup, offering a wide variety of sizes, colors, and silhouettes—including rare models not easily found elsewhere.
In one corner of the PX Shibuya store, there is a space where only the "PX TANKER" series is lined up. It boasts one of the best lineups in Japan.
