Curated Eyewear from Around the World

Globespecs Daikanyama offers fashion-forward eyewear selected from countries like the United States, France, Germany, and Japan. In addition, the shop carries many exclusive items, including original frames and collaboration models with Japanese fashion brands. The presence of full-length mirrors throughout the shop reflects their belief that eyewear should be enjoyed as a fashion item, not just a vision aid.

Distinctive brands only found here. The French brand 「AHLEM」 offers eyewear that balances functionality and design.

「Lesca LUNETIER」 is a brand that inherits the traditional craftsmanship and design of France, with an especially extensive selection available here.

「LAPIMA」 is known for its unique designs inspired by Brazilian nature and art, and is available exclusively at this store in Japan.

The Japanese brand 「ayame」 is popular among fashion-savvy customers.

The store also carries 「Scye SPECS」, a collaboration with the Japanese casual brand 「Scye」.

Other offerings include 「O.J. GLOBE SPECS OPTICAL Co.」, created in collaboration with apparel brand 「OLD JOE」—part of their rich selection of made-in-Japan frames.

With the full-length mirrors, customers can try on frames while considering how they balance with their clothing.

Fashion accessories like glass holders are also available, enhancing the style aspect of eyewear.

World’s Best Eyewear Store, Styled with Vintage Furnishings

The store’s interior, filled with vintage furniture and objects collected by the owner from around the world, is another standout feature. Items gathered from cities like New York, Portland, Philadelphia, Paris, Vienna, and London are harmoniously arranged to create a refined space shaped by the owner's precise aesthetic sense. In 2017, the shop was awarded the BESTORE AWARD for its unique product selection and store design.

Inside, you’ll find antique objects collected by owner Mr. Okada, including old comics from his childhood.

Classic wooden counters, cabinets, and mannequins sourced from flea markets add to the diverse interior ambiance.

The trees planted outside the shop and the potted plants inside are the work of Mr. Noriyoshi Haga, the trusted owner of the flower shop 「chibi」, known in fashion and art circles.

The gold-and-glass signage at the entrance was created by Mr. Hinai of 「NUTS ART WORKS」. It replicates a traditional European technique from the 1920s and has a breathtaking presence when viewed up close.

World-Class Precision in Eye Exams

The shop is highly rated for its precise eye exams, performed by experienced staff. It uses a German-style approach to eye exams, but adjustments are made not only based on numbers, but also tailored to each customer's lifestyle. The shop is particularly known for its precise astigmatism axis correction, drawing many international repeat visitors seeking accurate vision measurements.

All eye exams and fittings are conducted one-on-one with great care and time. Staff also recommend the best frame design to suit each customer.
