Right in the Heart of Shibuya—Ideally Located for a Quick Stop Between Shopping

Zoff Grand Tokyo Shibuya is just a seven-minute walk from Shibuya Station. The surrounding area is packed with visitor-friendly destinations such as MEGA Don Quijote, GU, and Animate, making it an easy stop while exploring the neighborhood. Its glass façade features bold graphics that instantly convey a bright, open atmosphere—even from the street—so first-time visitors can step inside with ease.

Inside, you’ll find a wide assortment of frames, from multifunctional designs to sunglasses with 100% UV protection. Every price displayed includes lenses, starting from just 5,500 yen—an approachable and transparent pricing style that Zoff is known for.

The store’s exterior wrapping design is updated regularly, creating a visual highlight that catches the eyes of passersby.

The white-toned interior feels clean and refined.

Frames are neatly arranged on tiered displays, making them easy to pick up and browse at a glance.

The walls are lined with sunglasses. Lens colors can be customized as an optional service.

Try on Your Favorites from 1,200 Frames and Find the Perfect Pair

The experience begins with choosing a frame. The store carries around 1,200 options, organized clearly into categories such as men’s, women’s, kids’, and sunglasses. Pick up a few designs that catch your eye and freely try them on to compare. As you explore, check how each frame feels, from the material to the fit, and take your time finding a pair that suits your face shape and personal style. Mirrors placed throughout the store make it easy to assess both the look and the clarity of your vision as you try different frames.

Leo carefully examines the frames that interest him. “I like simple designs that go with anything. Some of the women’s frames also caught my eye,” he says.

Leo seems to have his eye on a Wellington-style frame. With mirrors placed right beside the shelves, he can compare frames on the spot without wandering around to find a mirror.

Each shelf usually displays the same model in different colors, making it easy to compare subtle variations.

Finished in As Little As 30 Minutes—Pick Up Your Glasses the Very Same Day

Once you’ve chosen your frame, complete the check-in on a tablet and proceed to a vision test conducted by the staff. The test is free and takes about 15–20 minutes. Follow the audio instructions and operate the lever in front of you; based on the collected data, the staff will place trial lenses into a special testing frame. Together, you’ll fine-tune the prescription while checking how clearly you can see.

After selecting your lenses, proceed to checkout. Once payment is complete, the in-store processing machines begin shaping your lenses. Because everything is done on-site rather than shipped to a factory, you can receive your finished glasses in as little as 30 minutes.

The check-in tablet supports Japanese, English, and Chinese. Simply follow the instructions on the screen.

A numbered ticket is issued after check-in. Wait inside the store until your number is called.

The vision-testing machine includes an English audio guide. “It was like a quick game—you just move the lever, and it’s done,” says Leo.

Using the measurement data, the staff sets trial lenses into the testing frame. If you have specific preferences—such as wanting a slightly weaker prescription for home use—this is the time to discuss them.

Leo checks his vision with the trial frame. “Everything looks so clear. My left and right eyes have different vision, but they were able to figure that out so quickly,” he says.

Each purchased frame comes with a complimentary case. Several colors and shapes are available, so you can choose the one you prefer.

Smart, Zero-Wait Pickup With In-Store Lockers

Zoff Grand Tokyo Shibuya also features pickup lockers where your completed glasses are stored. Once the designated pickup time arrives, simply scan the QR code you received at checkout, and the locker door opens automatically. Even during busy hours, you can retrieve your glasses without waiting—a welcome convenience. Since the lenses are processed while you’re out exploring Shibuya, visitors can make the most of their sightseeing time. And if you’d like final adjustments to the fit after pickup, the staff will happily fine-tune them on the spot.

After pickup, the staff checks the fit—making sure the glasses don’t slip when you look down and that the width feels comfortable. “It’s hard to judge the fit by myself, so having a professional look at it is really reassuring,” says Leo.

The staff makes fine, hand-adjusted tweaks to areas such as the nose pads and temple curves.

Multilingual Support for Peace of Mind—Ideal for International Travelers

Because the store welcomes many international visitors, every staff member carries a portable translation device. These devices support major languages such as English, Chinese, Korean, German, and Italian, as well as regional varieties like Indian English and Australian English—allowing conversations to flow naturally, close to a customer’s native language. The store also provides starter guides in English and Chinese that outline frame features and lens options, helping shoppers make informed choices. It’s a reassuring service for anyone who feels uncertain about communicating in Japanese.

Leo asks a question about eyewear care. When he speaks into the translation device in English, it instantly converts his words into Japanese. “That was fast—and accurate! It’s great not having to type into a translation app,” he says.

The translation device is compact and handheld. You can freely select the language you want it to interpret.

The store’s starter guide summarizes the characteristics of popular frames and the range of lens options available.

FLIP UP: Switch Focus Without Taking Your Glasses On and Off

FLIP UP is a lift-up style frame that lets you switch focus without taking your glasses on and off. Keep the front frame lowered for everyday wear, and simply flip it up when you need a clear, unaided view of something up close. The design is also lightweight, offering exceptional comfort.
