BAYCREW’S Presents the Next Generation of Select Shop Retail

BAYCREW’S, the company behind 「SELECT by BAYCREW’S」, is a Japanese lifestyle group founded in 1977. Their portfolio includes fashion brands such as 「JOURNAL STANDARD」, 「IÉNA」, and 「ÉDIFICE」, as well as ventures in dining, furniture, and fitness. Today, they operate over 70 brands, with a core strength in offering seamless lifestyle experiences across clothing, food, and living.

In February 2024, the brand launched 「SELECT by BAYCREW’S」 in Toranomon Hills Station Tower, the centerpiece of a major redevelopment in central Tokyo. The complex spans two floors and about 800 tsubo in total, housing 12 shops across categories including fashion, food, lifestyle, and art. This next-generation select shop embodies BAYCREW’S philosophy, offering a genre-blending lineup shaped by a fresh perspective.

For example, 「THENIME」 on the third floor offers clothing and goods that pair well with denim.

In the women's section on the third floor, vintage and stocked items coexist.

「THE STAND fool so good(s)」 on the second floor specializes in home and lifestyle goods. The shop also features many exclusive collaboration items, curated with BAYCREW’S signature approach.

Here, you’ll also find hot dogs and donuts made from thoughtfully selected ingredients, creating a space where fashion and food intersect naturally.

Also located within the complex is 「art cruise gallery by Baycrew’s」, which regularly hosts art exhibitions—making this more than just a shopping destination.

Curated by Legends in Fashion and Culture

A defining feature of this shop is that selections are overseen by key figures in their respective fields. At 「THENIME」, creative director Emimi Nagao presents a denim-focused concept. The vintage section is curated by Hiroshi Fujiwara, director of the iconic Harajuku shop 「BerBerJin」. You’ll also find 「Herringbone Footwear」, curated by Eiichi Kunii of 「mita sneakers」, a leading figure in Ueno’s sneaker culture. The bookstore 「title:」 features a selection curated by the art bookstore 「POST」 in Ebisu. These tastemakers’ sensibilities can be felt throughout the space.

At the vintage denim corner curated by 「BerBerJin」, rare pieces in sizes 27–31 inches are available—ideal for female shoppers as well.

There’s even a chance to come across legendary models like the Levi’s 506XX, known as the “1st model.”

「Herringbone Footwear」 features over 300 pairs of sneakers at all times, displayed on rugged steel shelving.

The lineup includes 「ASICS」, 「MIZUNO」, 「NIKE」, 「NEW BALANCE」, and 「HOKA」.

「title:」 offers a space filled with inspiration, featuring art-related books from Japan and abroad alongside design-focused lifestyle goods.
