From trend-driven displays and hands-on custom services unique to the Shibuya location, to Japan-exclusive apparel, the store offers a wide range of attractions. With new discoveries awaiting each visit, it is a spot where Oakley’s “now” can be experienced in a multidimensional way.

Located along Bunkamura Street in the heart of Shibuya’s cultural district, "Oakley Store Shibuya" features a striking exterior with a large L-shaped LED display measuring approximately 19 meters wide. Combined with windows that change their appearance with each campaign, the store makes a powerful statement befitting a flagship location. Inside, a visual presentation showcasing new releases and highlighted items is positioned at the center of the floor, allowing visitors to experience Oakley’s latest vision in real time. The store spans two floors: eyewear on the first floor and apparel on the second. In particular, the eyewear selection on the first floor is one of the largest in Japan. Displays are organized by popular models, making it easy to grasp current trends. At the time of our visit, influences from 1990s and 2000s revivals were evident, and shifts in the popularity of classic models could also be observed. It is truly a space where you can feel Oakley’s present moment.

One of the key attractions of "Oakley Store Shibuya" lies in its original services that offer a high level of experiential value. At the eyewear custom lab, customers can sit at a dedicated counter and build their own pair by selecting from a wide range of parts and colors while handling them directly. The store also offers an embroidery service for fabric items such as caps and T-shirts purchased on-site. This service allows text and icons to be embroidered on the spot and is available only at the Shibuya store in Japan. Designs include hiragana, kanji, and motifs inspired by Japanese culture—such as kabuki and samurai helmets—making them ideal as travel souvenirs or special keepsakes. In addition, the store is equipped with an eyewear cleaning machine with sterilization and drying functions, as well as professional eye examination services. Together, these offerings clearly demonstrate the value of visiting this location.

The “Tokyo Exclusive” series, available in T-shirts and hoodies, is sold only at select directly operated stores, and the Shibuya location boasts one of the most comprehensive selections. On the second-floor apparel area, the lineup goes beyond the simple logo T-shirts commonly seen at mass retailers, offering a broader collection unique to directly operated stores. Of particular note is the “Made in Japan” line designed by Oakley’s Japanese design team. Its high quality and refined design have gained increasing recognition overseas, and the items convey the depth of the brand.
