Born from the passion of climbers, "ARC'TERYX" continues to create cutting-edge outdoor gear. Its first store in Japan, the "ARC'TERYX Harajuku Brand Store," opened in 2014 and was renovated in 2022 into a bright, wood-toned space inspired by a mountain lodge. The store carries a full lineup suited to activities throughout all four seasons, as well as many color variations available only at ARC'TERYX directly managed stores. Knowledgeable staff with expertise in outdoor activities are always on-site, and next door is the lifestyle-focused line "VEILANCE." Here, visitors can immerse themselves deeply in the world of the brand.

ARC'TERYX develops its products with the expectation that they will be used in harsh environments such as alpine climbing. Inside the store, you will find items that embody the brand’s highly technical and professional identity. In fall and winter, the store offers an extensive selection of models designed for snowy mountain climbing and skiing. In summer, trail-running gear is available, enabling customers to find items for a wide variety of activities throughout the year. Because Yoyogi Park is located nearby, customers can even go for a run immediately after purchasing their gear. Many staff members regularly enjoy activities such as climbing, skiing, and trail running, allowing them to provide advice based on real experience.

The Harajuku Brand Store is the first ARC'TERYX store in Japan. During its 2022 renovation, the interior was transformed from a unified black concept into a bright, wood-accented space inspired by a mountain lodge. A highlight of the store is the design wall along the staircase connecting the first and second floors. This wall represents the rocky faces of the Coast Mountains in Canada—the birthplace of the brand—bringing a sense of nature into the shopping experience. The store offers the full lineup of the highly functional Performance Collection, as well as many color variations available exclusively at ARC'TERYX directly managed stores.

Adjacent to the Harajuku Brand Store is "ARC'TERYX Harajuku BIRD’S NEST," which carries the "VEILANCE" line in a dedicated space. Known for its minimal and refined aesthetic, VEILANCE is designed for urban environments. In many locations, VEILANCE is displayed alongside the main performance line, but in Harajuku it occupies a separate area, allowing visitors to experience each world at a relaxed pace.
