Most of the sneakers in the store are vintage models from "adidas." These are rare and well-preserved pieces, primarily from the 1970s and 1980s. Notable examples include French-made "Stan Smiths" and Foot Locker-exclusive editions of the "Superstar." The owner is a globally renowned sneaker collector, held in such high regard that "adidas" itself has approached him for collaborations, store visits, and even borrowing items from his collection.

A Carefully Curated Selection of Rare and Iconic "adidas" Models in Excellent Condition.

The store’s lineup centers on "adidas"—the very brand that first sparked the owner’s fascination with sneakers. He has handpicked only those models from the 1970s and 1980s that are in particularly good condition. Among them are rare archival pieces, such as French-made "Stan Smiths" and Foot Locker-exclusive "Superstars," which are now extremely difficult to find.

Most of the sneakers on display in the store are vintage models from "adidas." Among them, the range of "Superstar" and "Stan Smith" models is particularly extensive.

Also on display are "Foot Locker"-exclusive "adidas Superstars." A lineup of rare, black-based models is arranged in a way that can only be seen here. These are not for sale.

Sneakers stacked from floor to ceiling—an inviting, hidden space where you’ll feel like you're on a treasure hunt.

The store isn’t particularly large, but once you step through the door from a quiet alleyway, you’ll find yourself in a space that feels like a hidden retreat. Shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling line nearly every wall, with around 400 pairs of sneakers densely displayed. First-time visitors are often astonished by the scene. Since new sneakers arrive almost daily, there’s always something new to discover with each visit.

Vintage "Converse" sneakers come in a wide range of rare colors not found in current models. In particular, the "All Star"—commonly known as the "Chuck Taylor"—stands out with its iconic presence. 1970s "Converse All Star": 198,000yen (Sold Out)

Vintage "PUMA" models are relatively hard to find on the market, but "SOMA Shimokitazawa" consistently keeps around 50 pairs in stock. 1970s "PUMA Clyde": 198,000yen (Sold Out)

The Shop Owner Is a Globally Renowned Vintage Sneaker Collector.

The owner began collecting vintage sneakers during the sneaker boom of the 1990s. After graduating from university, he moved to Canada, where he worked as a gardener while continuing to grow his collection as a hobby. At the age of 26, he returned to Japan and opened his own store. Today, he is internationally recognized as one of the leading collectors in the vintage sneaker world. His deep expertise and trusted reputation have led to numerous requests for collaborations and event appearances from sneaker brands around the globe.

The person who spoke to us about the appeal of vintage sneakers was the shop owner, Katsufumi Tokunaga.

The "adidas Jabbar," a reissue model supervised by Tokunaga himself, faithfully reproduces the original design and features his engraved portrait on the tongue. Created exclusively for promotional purposes, this model is not for sale and can only be seen at this store—even if you searched the entire world.

Another standout piece is a pair of green sneakers inspired by the team colors of the NBA’s "Boston Celtics," Tokunaga’s favorite team. Based on a 1970s original model, the shoes are made from genuine leather and meticulously crafted down to the finest details. 2022 "PUMA Suede MIJ SOMA × atmos": 18,500yen (Sold Out)

The store’s most expensive item is the 1980s Korean-made "Nike Air Jordan 1," priced at 481,800yen.

Also available is a well-preserved, French-made "adidas Superstar" from the 1980s, priced at 217,800yen.

The "Nike Night Track," famously worn by "Michael Jackson," is also on display. Glitter accents on the outsole and swoosh make it a truly eye-catching pair. Price: 140,800yen
